CIMIC TRAINING HUB 01/25: A FIRST STEP TOWARDS THE FUTURE OF NATO CIVIL-MILITARY COOPERATION

Motta di Livenza,14 July 2025 – The conclusion of CIMIC Training Hub 01/25 marks both the end of one cycle and the beginning of a new one for NATO’s CIMIC community. The experience gained during these four days of intense activity saw twenty-seven military personnel from fourteen nations come together to focus on CIMIC planning and standardisation, thus opening an initial path towards a new culture of civil-military cooperation within the framework of the NATO Force Model.


“What we have built here is not just a course: it is an operational network that will enhance the readiness and effectiveness of CIMIC units within the NATO Force Model,” the organizers from MNCG emphasized “It is essential that this initiative becomes an integral part of our operational culture.”


MNCG Commander, OF-5 Piero Furlan, also highlighted the importance of the achievements:“The Training Hub represents the synthesis of what was discussed at the CUCC in Venice, and it is the first tangible result confirming MNCG’s capability to lead the evolution of CIMIC capabilities for the entire Alliance. We have laid an important foundation on which to build the future. ”The path initiated with this first edition now opens the door to new development prospects, aimed at fostering even.
